My friend Lesa brought this over for a neighbor gift yesterday (actually it was her whole family -they even sang to us when I hassled them a little!) and I thought it was a cool idea. You burn a section of the candle everyday (maybe when it's family scripture time) until it's Christmas.
Of course there IS the ever-present "little boys and fire" issue....
I like the candle, I want one. I LOVE the picture of Kai Kai, Keaton would be trying to burn all kinds of stuff. Can't swim against the testosterone pool.
I am a fitness instructor, AFAA certified personal trainer, and a mom of three. Most of the time I'm vegan, with some crazy "free" meals a couple times a week. I have a love/hate relationship with my yard depending on how much work it needs! I grew up in San Diego, and love the ocean. I scuba, but sometimes have panic attacks snorkeling. Given the choice between the superpowers of invisibility and flight, I'd pick flight in a heartbeat. I love my husband, and his patience with my crazy habit of getting into something that's well over my head.

That is a neat idea. Where did she get the candle?

That is a mighty tall candle.
I can't wait to see kaikai at Christmas, when the candle is very short.
It's just a regular taper. She painted the numbers on herself.
I think I like eating a piece of chocolate every day better than burning a candle.
